Kannada Translation Services

Certified Kannada to English translation for USCIS filings, US court cases, WES and NACES evaluations, and medical or nursing credentialing. Karnataka certificates are translated as issued, including the digitally signed pages that carry no ink stamp.

DHCTranslations translates Kannada documents in the US, and the first thing a US reader notices is that many Karnataka certificates carry no ink seal at all. Fifty-four dollars covers a document, statement and PDF.

    Pricing

What a certified Kannada translation costs

Certified translations start at $54 per document: from $0.12 per word after the first 400 words into English, and from $0.14 per word for English into another language, with some pairs quoted higher.

Certification is the translator's signed statement, and it is included in the price.

A translation for USCIS, a US court or a US university is certified by the translator's signed statement, and nothing further is added to the quote.

What a certified Kannada translation is checked for

A page that authenticates itself with a code rather than a seal needs the translation to say so, or the reader treats a properly issued certificate as an unchecked copy. The digital signature, the reference and the two-column question are all dealt with on the certificate.

    What the certification includes

    • Signed statement of accuracy: the translator's name, signature and date, their CIOL or ITI membership number, our company stamp and our contact details.
    • The code is accounted for: the QR reference and the digital signature line are reproduced and named, so a reader can see how the original verifies itself without an ink stamp.
    • Two columns, one answer: where the sheet prints both languages, the Kannada is translated and any difference from the English column is recorded rather than silently resolved.
    • Certified PDF: the certified file is emailed at no extra cost, which is what a US filing accepts. A printed set can be arranged if a receiving body insists on paper, and is quoted per order.

    Karnataka records

A certificate with no stamp on it

Karnataka issues most of its certificates through an online counter, so what arrives is a printed page carrying a digital signature and a QR code instead of a round ink seal. A US reader looking for a stamp concludes the copy is uncertified, when in fact the page authenticates itself through the code. Alongside that, many certificates are printed in Kannada and English on the same sheet, and the two columns do not always agree.

    Birth certificate

    On the Kannada document
    ಜನನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ
    Issued by
the municipal corporation or gram panchayat

    Marriage certificate

    On the Kannada document
    ವಿವಾಹ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ
    Issued by
    the sub-registrar

    Caste certificate

    On the Kannada document
    ಜಾತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ
    Issued by
the revenue office, printed through the online counter

    Income certificate

    On the Kannada document
    ಆದಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ
    Issued by
    the revenue office

    Residence certificate

    On the Kannada document
    ವಾಸಸ್ಥಳ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ
    Issued by
    the revenue office

    Marksheet

    On the Kannada document
    ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿ
    Issued by
the school board or the university

Two habits of Karnataka paperwork catch people out. A page printed at the online counter is valid without a wet stamp, so the digital signature and the QR reference are described in the translation, at the point they appear, rather than passed over as decoration. And where the sheet prints Kannada and English side by side, the Kannada is translated and any disagreement with the English column is stated, because the two are not always in step and a reader is entitled to know which one was followed.

    Frequently asked questions

DHCTranslations handles Kannada documents from a New York office, including corporation birth registrations, revenue certificates and university papers, and each translation carries a statement signed by the translator who produced it.

Because most certificates are printed at an online counter and authenticate themselves with a digital signature and a QR code rather than an ink seal. The page is still a properly issued document, and the translation names the signature line and the code so a US reader can see that.

DHCTranslations charges $54 for a document up to 400 words, then $0.12 per word into English or $0.14 from English into Kannada. The statement and the PDF are included rather than charged separately.

The Kannada column, because that is the wording the issuing office set down. Where the English column says something different, the difference is noted on the certificate rather than quietly smoothed over.

They record community and household income for Indian purposes, and they are issued through the revenue office for schooling, reservations and subsidies. A US filing rarely needs either, so send them only where a file already lists them.

The ten-year board marksheet, the two-year pre-university record and the degree. The board marksheet usually carries the date of birth as well, which is why it travels with the degree rather than instead of it.

USCIS wants the full text in English plus a translator's signed statement, which every order carries. Send the page as it printed, including the code, because a re-typed copy loses the means of checking it.

Yes, and it is translated as the temple recorded it, with the officiant and any registration stamp set out where they appear. A temple record and a sub-registrar entry are different documents and are not presented as one.

The degree and the consolidated marksheet are translated with every subject, mark and credit intact, and DHCTranslations adds a note on the Karnataka scale so the equivalences are the evaluator's call.

Yes. DHCTranslations charges $0.14 per word from English into Kannada, written by a native speaker of the language rather than adapted from Telugu or Hindi.
