How to Find Your Document
The document type tells you what is being translated. The receiving body tells you how the certificate has to look. Pick the card that matches your paper, and the page behind it covers the format, the price and the wording that office accepts.
What Every Document Gets
-
Full Translation: Every page, including the reverse, the margin notes and the issuing office's stamp, with nothing summarized away.
-
Signed Certificate: A statement naming the translator, the languages and the date, printed behind the translation rather than stamped over it.
-
Names Kept Consistent: One transliteration per person across the whole set, because a name spelled three ways reads as three different people to an officer.
-
PDF by Email: Delivered as a file you can upload straight into a filing, with a printed set quoted separately if a body insists on paper.
Before You Order
Two questions decide the price and the format, and both are answered by the office you are sending to.
-
Which Body Receives It: USCIS, a court, an evaluation service and a university each set their own requirement, and the certificate wording follows the strictest one in the set.
-
Whether It Is Certified: A translation for your own reference is one price; a translation with a signed statement for filing is the same price, so there is no reason to order it uncertified if it may be filed later.
-
One Page or a Set: Documents filed together are quoted together, so the word count is taken across the set rather than per page.
If your document is not listed, send it: the list follows what US clients file, not the limits of what we translate.

What our clients say
Rated 4.9/5 from 314 verified reviews for USCIS submissions, court filings and credential evaluations.
“The municipal certificate had a registration number that was partly handwritten, and the translator reproduced it and described the seal rather than guessing.”
Subrata M.
“Both result slips kept their subject grades exactly, and the note explaining the grading answered the university's query.”
Ahmad R.
“My surname stayed the same after marriage, as Korean records do, and the translation stated that plainly so the relationship evidence was not questioned.”
Min-seo P.
Frequently asked questions
DHCTranslations translates civil certificates, transcripts, court orders, medical records and business papers for US filings, working from our New York base and certifying each one with a signed translator statement. Send the pages and the receiving body, and the price follows before any work starts.
From $54 per document at DHCTranslations. A one-page certificate sits at that floor, and a document past 400 words is charged at $0.12 per word into English or $0.14 per word from English into another language. Certification is included rather than added.
The card closest to your paper is the shortest route, and the pages are grouped by the body that receives the work rather than by file type. If nothing matches, send a photograph and we will tell you which requirement applies.
Only the ones being filed somewhere. A document translated for your own understanding needs no certificate, though the price is the same, so ordering it certified costs nothing extra and saves a second order when a filing appears later.
Yes, and that is how most filings arrive: four or five certificates together. The quote covers the set, the word count is taken across it, and the certificate is written to satisfy the strictest receiving body in the group.
A single page confirmed before 4pm ET on a weekday is usually emailed by DHCTranslations the same day. A set of five certificates takes one business day, and a long record such as a court judgment or hospital file is given a date in the quote.
Ask. The language list runs past 200 pairs, and the pages here describe document types rather than languages. Where we cannot cover a language with a qualified translator, we say so at the quote rather than after payment.
Yes, and those pages are the ones an officer looks at hardest. Handwritten entries are translated as written, stamps are described in place, and anything genuinely illegible is marked rather than guessed at.
Yes. The certified PDF is included and is what almost every filing accepts. A printed set is quoted on request, priced by carrier and destination, and confirmed before you pay for it.
Send us their wording and we reissue the statement in that form, which is a document change rather than a retranslation. Most objections are about the declaration rather than the translation, which is why we ask who receives the work at the start.
