The General Dental Council (GDC) is an independent organisation which regulates dentists and dental care professionals in the UK. Translation Guidelines for the General Dental Council

We will provide you with a complete and accurate translation of every document that is not in English. If the translation is indeed for the GDC then you must let us know when you e-mail us as they require an extra level of certification.

The translations will be stamped, signed and dated by an official representative of DHCTranslations and will come together with a copy of the original document.

We will make sure to use a translator from the CIOL (Chartered Institute of Linguists) and write their name, membership ID and contact details on the cover page of the translated documents.

We will confirm in writing on the translation:

• that it’s a ‘true and accurate translation of the original document’
• the date of the translation
• the full name and contact details of the translator or a representative of the translation company
